A Passion for Theatre
Background Information
I am a dedicated theatre director with a rich history in shaping young talents and fostering a love the performing arts. I began my journey as theatre educator at Woodland Middle School in North Port, FL, where my program flourished, offering a wide range of theatre experiences and earning recognition at state festivals. Since transitioning to Lemon Bay High School in 2022 I have continued to direct numerous successful productions, amassing over 50 performances in 12 years. With a focus on enjoyable learning and skill development, my commitment extends to preparing students for diverse careers both within outside the theatre world.
Artistic Philosophy
My teaching philosophy revolves around building meaningful connections and facilitating growth through practical application and teamwork. By employing a facil-based approach, I empower my students to explore, question and collaborate, fostering an environment of artistic achievement and personal development in every production.
