Mirror Mirror
Project type
Virtual Performance
Date

This was a unique production that we had to do all virtual due to performance restrictions after Covid. As the School News teacher, I had access to the studio and equipment to put this together. It definitely tested my skills with technology as I had to learn how to use Adobe photoshop and premier pro. I had to learn how to set up and capture video from 4 different cameras, and so much more. What was impressive about this show is that the backgrounds were designed by a very talented student, and we were able to digitize them and put them in the background. As intense as this was, I am very proud of the final product. It allowed my students to still do what they love while dealing with the restrictions of the time.

Fairy tales may not have the magic of technology, but they do have magic! And through the wonders of the magic mirror, even fairy tales can come to life for the virtual stage!
The Evil Queen wishes to be fairest of them all. But when her Magic Mirror informs her that it is Snow White who is most fair, the queen is livid! When asked how to find the princess, her mirror mentions that Snow White has run away. The Evil Queen summons great magic in hopes of finding Snow White — she can now look through all mirrors throughout the kingdom. But there’s a catch... the magic also allows everyone else’s mirrors to show them what they most wish to see.
